AMANDA'S DRAWING

Besides penmanship. Amanda likes to draw. Here she draws the sun. He looks very relaxed. He looks the way I look sometimes after staring in the fire too long.

I like how she makes him a man. He seems so real. Like he's in the sky looking out for us.

I asked her:

"Honey, why isn't the sun yellow?"

"It's an etching dear."

"No, I don't have an itch, thanks sweetheart."

Then she gave me a strange look and I didn't understand it.

When she does this kind of art, she scratches a lot. The penmakes this SKREERA, SKEERA, SKEERA sound. It sometimes hurts my ear. But I don't disapprove. Because any art of hers is indusrty, and indusrty should be praised.
